Part night street lighting – DCC has still not provided any answers to the questions regarding the failure to advertise and consult on the programme in the manner promised.
Precept – Resolved: the Precept claim to be revised to £50,000, this being necessary to meet increased running costs, the cost of Parish Development, running the public toilets and providing an enhanced winter service. Further, it should be noted that the Parish Council makes an annual donation to the Glebe Field Centre of £7,745 which it regards as a significant contribution to community life. This increase should be seen against the background of many years of very modest Precept demands by Crich PC, almost 50% of Parish and Town Councils in Amber Valley are more expensive places to live in terms of Council tax.
