�The Transport Committee has been disbanded, the Finance Committee is too large, and this will be addressed at the next meeting of that committee on Thursday 13th June.

Public are alerted to a number of thefts from garden sheds and of plants from gardens. Further, it was Resolved: to inform the police of continued obstructive parking on Sandy Lane.
Complaints were lodged regarding lack of information on the recent County and Borough elections and regarding a large pothole at the top of Hollins Lane.
While it is perfectly proper to report pot-holes and other highway problems to the Parish Council, members of the public are reminded that a faster response may be gained by telephoning “Call Derbyshire” on 01629580000 when the problem is first noticed
AVBC Cllr Thorpe presented a written report.Chair welcomed newly elected Cty Cllr David Williams.

STW Reservoir Project � Chair reported on the latest meeting of the Ambergate Reservoir Community Liaison Group. Resolved: Chair to raise concerns regarding the movement of large vehicles and the slow progress on construction of the haul road.
Market Place Working Group (Cllr. Steppings) � Resolved: a budget of �10,000 to be allocated to the refurbishment of the seating area, the replacement of the bench and provision of a new notice board. Clerk to arrange for the planning application and Cllr Steppings to liaise with builders. Cllr. Steppings was thanked for all his hard work on this project.
Open meeting � Resolved: Clerk to arrange invitations. Cllr Broom offered to help with the organisation
Public toilets (the grant of �600 has been received from AVBC). Cllr. Wells reported that apart from minor vandalism the project was working well.
Amber Valley Borough Council (Liz Prior) is pursuing Greene King Brewery regarding their use of unsuitable ridge tiles when repairing the roof of the Black Swan.
The internally audited accounts were approved and signed by Chair.
Burial Ground capacity � Clerk estimated that the BG will be full in 4-5 years. Resolved: 1. To place a further �5000 in the BG Development Fund 2. Clerk to get an estimate for a new drive and turning area at current prices
Unsightly development at Windy Gap, Wakebridge � Resolved: This matter to be reported to AVBC Borough Development
Allotment rents Resolved: rents to be increased to �20 in March 2014 and �30 in March 2015 (full plot). In each case the rent to the landlord will remain at �10, the extra income to be set aside for repairs and development at the allotment site.
Trees on Parish land at Sun Lane Resolved: Chair to examine existing legal documents to establish ownership of the land.
Budgeting - a Finance Committee meeting will be held on Thursday June 13th at 7.30 pm.�
