Complaint about lack of grass verge cutting around Crich – Cllr. Gee to refer this to AVBC and Cty. Cllr. To refer the matter to DCC.
AVBC Cllr. Gee also agreed to refer concerns about dog fouling to AVBC.
AVBC Cllr Thorpe presented a written report. She also sought permission for Fritchley School to re-plant the daffodil bulbs at Fritchley Green, this permission was granted. She also reported that Amber First Responders now have 2 units on the road.
AVBC Cllr. Gee has asked that the planning application to build up to 113 houses off Roes Lane be referred to the Planning Committee of AVBC and not decided under delegated powers.
The Minutes were accepted subject to amendment regarding the listing of appointment of members to committees and will be re-presented at the July meeting.
It was agreed that the final allocation of Members to Committees and as representatives on outside bodies will be deferred until a full council with 12 members can be convened. Clerk to prepare a revised format and nomenclature to rationalise the existing committee structure.
The proposal to open a deposit account with Unity Bank was adopted by unanimous vote and application forms required to set it up were completed by Cllrs. Lane, Clarke and Thorpe.
Clerk outlined the Co-option process and confirmed that interviews will take place on Tuesday June 2nd.
It was RESOLVED unanimously that all members who are available at the time would be involved in the interviews.
The most recent Severn Trent Reservoir Liaison Meeting took place on 22.5 2015 – Chair and Cllr. Broom attended. An “Open Day” is planned subject to Health and Safety issues. Traffic associated with the project is currently at a peak.
The most recent meeting of the Neighbourhood Plan working group was well attended, small groups are working on different aspects of information gathering, a questionnaire is being prepared and a stall will be set up at Crich Fete. The next meeting will be held at the Red Lion (Crich Tramway Village) on Monday June 8th.
Clerk was instructed to write to the Planning Department at AVBC objecting to Planning Application AVA/2015/0426.
Clerk reported that he had 2 estimates for the tidying of the RG fence remains. He was instructed to put the work in hand.
Clerk reported that he had negotiated an improved deal for the provision of telephone and broadband with BT. Council agreed that this deal be accepted.
Permitted: AVA/2015/0220 Bowmer Rough Farm, Chadwick Nick. – Demolition of outbuilding to be replaced by ancillary dwelling.

Crich Infant School request that they be allowed to use the Recreation Ground for their Sports Day on July 21st 2015 – permission was granted.
Request for a grit bin at the new Woodside development – residents advised to seek help from the developer.
