In response to matters raised by members of the public it was Resolved that:
Clerk would report overgrown verges at Dimple Lane and Chadwick Nick Lane to DCC
In response to a question, Cllr. Wells assured the meeting that he was continuing to pursue DCC regarding the drainage and road surface problems at Hollins Lane.
AVBC Cllr. Thorpe presented a written report
AVBC Cllr Gee raised the issue of the proposed closure of the Market Place toilets and presented annual maintenance costs provided by AVBC. Members agreed that the toilets are a useful facility but expressed concern about the on-going financial burden they will place on the Parish Council. Resolved: To seek further clarification of the real implications for the Parish Council if it were it to take on responsibility for the toilets.�Minutes of the meeting of were confirmed and signed by Chair
STW Reservoir Project: Resolved: Chair and Cllr. Broom to attend a meeting on 17.7.2012 to set up �the liaison committee which can proceed now that the main contractor (Costain) has been appointed.�����
Standing Orders: Resolved: To submit the new version for approval to the full council meeting in September.
Code of Conduct (adoption of): Resolved: to submit the NALC version for adoption at the full council meeting in September. Clerk to circulate the Code and Appendix A to members via email.
Derbyshire Archaeological Society Butterley Gangroad Project. Resolved: Clerk to write to the society expressing support in principle
Crich Fete 2012. Resolved: Clerk to write to the organising committee congratulating them on the success of the event
Setting a budget. Resolved; Clerk to develop the system he has set up and to report the budget position to each monthly meeting.
Savings account dedicated to the proposed development of the Burial Ground Business Term deposit account at Yorkshire Bank. Resolved: Clerk to set appointment for three cheque signatories to visit Yorkshire Bank to set up the account.
RG play area Safety Inspection Report: Resolved: Clerk to invite possible suppliers to meet him and some members on site to discuss possible replacement/refurbishment of equipment
Pre-payment of course fees � a system? Resolved; Powers to sign cheques to pay such fees to be delegated to cheque signatories between meetings when requested by Clerk.
