No police present. Clerk was instructed to inform PCSO Donna of the concern over obstructive parking on Sandy Lane.
General concern was expressed regarding overgrown verges.
The edge of the road at Hollins Lane is crumbling.
The high stone wall at Dimple Head is in a poor state of repair.
Resolved: Clerk to report these matters to DCC
AVBC Cllr Thorpe presented a written report.
The Minutes were approved and signed.
STW Reservoir Project � Chair reported on the latest meeting of the Liaison Committee:
�Matters discussed included traffic signage, regarding the Top Hagg/Common junction, the haul road, the delivery to the site of large items such as the batching plant and site cabins and the possibility of community funding from STW.
Market Place Working Group - Cllr. Steppings reported that matters were well in hand with the builder and that planning consent was now awaited. Cllr. Steppings was thanked for his hard work regarding this project
The Bulling Lane road island � it was decided that no further action to reduce “road furniture” would be appropriate at the moment
The Open Meeting will take place on Monday 23rd September at the Glebe Field Centre commencing at 7.30 pm�
Chair reported that she had represented the Council at the presentation of new colours to the Mercian Regiment and at the Annual Pilgrimage to Crich Stand. Chair and Cllr Brierton have met with Nick Wilders of Futures Homescapes regarding the withdrawn planning application to build homes to the rear of the Glebe Field Centre.
Report of Finance Committee Meeting held on 13th June 2013 (minutes circulated). Cllr. Broom has been elected as Chair of Finance. Cllr Clark was thanked for his hard work as the previous incumbent.
Cllr. Broom reported on whole Council training held at South Wingfield. Resolved: Cllr. Broom to investigate similar training for Crich Parish Council.
Report on Parish and Town Council Liaison Forum (Cllr Broom).
DCC Winter Service Scheme � the Council will continue to be part of the scheme with Cllr. Slaney continuing as Snow Warden.
The need for a pavement on Sandy Lane (Cllr. Slaney) Resolved: Clerk to refer the suggestion to DCC.
ROSPA report on the RG play equipment. Clerk: to arrange for the appropriate repairs to be carried out.
Registering the Black Swan as a “Community Asset” � communitychampions.org.uk are proceeding with this matter.
Parish land � Chair has studied the documents and will report more fully at the next meeting. Resolved: Clerk to meet with the AVBC Tree Officer to discuss the condition of trees in the Tors Quarry area.
