Concern was expressed regarding car boot sales being held in the Shuckstone Lane and Roes Lane area.
The hedge adjacent to Cromford Rd. between the church and The Cross is over-growing the road.
A resident expressed her concern and circulated a written statement regarding planning application AVA/2015/0298
Cty. Cllr. Williams is lobbying DCC with reference to:
Mobile library issues in Fritchley and Dimple Lane drainage. He was asked to seek help regarding speeding in Fritchley (Cllr. Smith has experience in these matters and wishes to be involved) and the poor state of the road at Bobbin Mill Hill.
AVBC Cllr Thorpe emailed a report to members.
AVBC Cllr. Gee reported on his attendance at the Roes Lane planning appeal.
The Minutes were accepted as a true record of the meetings and were signed by Chair.
“Committee” structure –members approved a revised system proposed by the Clerk and appointments were made accordingly:
Finance Committee (to report to Full Council – this committee does not have delegated powers).
Chair and vice Chair, Cllrs Bateman, Baugh and Broom.

Allotments, Burial Ground, Jubilee Ground and footpaths: Cllr. Thorpe*
Winter Service: Cllr. Baugh *
Planning: Cllrs. Brown, Collison, Smith and Walsh (this group to take a lead role in helping the PC to formulate a view on planning applications within the area).
Recreation Ground Development (The PLACE project): Cllrs Clark and Yorke.
Appointment of Members to represent the Council on outside bodies:
The Ambergate Reservoir Liaison Group: (please note that Cllr Margaret Lane was appointed Chair of this group by the group! this position is not courtesy of her position as Chair of Crich PC). Cllr. Broom is also a member of this group. Cllr. Brown to deputise if necessary.
The Neighbourhood Plan working group: Chair, Cllrs Collison and Walsh.
Glebe Field Centre Management Committee: Cllr. Clark
Glebe Field Trust: Cllr. Thorpe
The Rolls Royce Local Liaison Committee ref. (Hilts Quarry): Cllr. Lane (Cllr. Brown to receive copies of reports.)

It is hoped to appoint Snow Warden before winter.

Unity Bank deposit account – council is now in a position to set up this account. It was resolved that a cheque for £15,000 be prepared for deposit in this account (see cheques below in 15/1251.
Neighbourhood Plan publicity stall will be on the Market Place on Saturday 11th July and will also be present at the village fete.
Roes Lane Planning Application appeal: Chair and other members made multiple visits to the appeal. Chair and members of the Keep Crich a Village campaign made representations and are to be congratulated on their commitment to the cause and on the care they have taken in preparing their case. Parishioners Gray, Jones, Oliver and Bettison were present throughout proceedings.
Cllr. Yorke reported on a very busy period for the PLACE project team:
Severn Trent Water has agreed to lay the new paths and they have provided 6 new benches. They will also erect a new information board. The group will be raising funds and attracting publicity by running the refreshment tent at Crich Fete and by holding two social events in the Glebe Field Centre.
Recreation Ground fence –posts have been removed and the ground levelled.
Burial Ground extension – planning permission has now been granted. PC agreed the next phase of expenditure to get the necessary surveys done and permissions granted. Clerk is seeking information regarding the consecration process.
Road verge trimming – members were encouraged to support the “smart trimming campaign” which aims to encourage authorities to cut to improve sight lines and access without damaging ecosystems un-necessarily.
RG play equipment safety inspection – Cllr. Yorke to consider the implications of the report
New seats now in place at Wheatcroft (bottom of Dark Lane) and Whatstandwell (Hindersitch Lane)
Car boot sales – concern expressed by 2 parishioners over new sites off Shuckstone Lane and Roes Lane – this situation to be monitored.
Parish Council accounts 2014-5 have been approved by the external auditor.
Allotments – all the allotments have been let and all but two are well maintained, Clerk has written to the tenants concerned.

Rolls Royce monitoring report on Hilts quarry shows no unusual readings. Cllr. Brown to study the results.
Mr. and Mrs Friend kindly offered to keep the area clean around the new seat at Dark Lane.
Another request has been received regarding the provision of a grit bin at Woodside. The Winter Service group will consider this request when it is fully constituted.

The Clerks salary scale was reviewed.
