After consideration of the arboricultural report it was agreed to fell the 9 beech trees situated at the Recreation Ground. Members studied the detail of 4 quotations and agreed to instruct Derwent Treescapes of Matlock to carry out the work as soon as possible.
Suitable trees will be planted in their place as and when the site is ready.
Parish Council is aware of the contribution the trees make to the locality but consider the safety of residents, Recreation Ground users and property to be of paramount importance.
