Springfield Close requires a grit bin and the path by the side of the RG is overhung by branches. In answer to a question, Chair replied that the planning application for affordable housing to the rear of The Glebe will be re-submitted. A request was made for the growth at the side of the main road below Roes Lane to be cut back and for temporary signs erected by DCC to warn of tar spraying to be removed after the job is completed.
P.C. Wilbourne reported that the current issue is the prevention of burglary through the provision of Crime Prevention advice. A young motorcyclist has been issued with a Section 59 notice regarding nuisance behaviour. .

No meeting was held in August. A list of cheques signed was recorded in a �Newsletter� prepared by the Clerk and filed with the Minutes of the other 2010 meetings
Community Response Plan � Cllr. Clark agreed to look at drawing up a list of useful emergency contacts within the community.
Allotments � dealing with complaints. Cllr. Tromans explained that she had a very positive meeting with allotment neighbours and that many of the problems had been ironed out. She thanked Robin Harvey for his help. Chair thanked Cllr. Tromans for her work on this issue.
Allotments � improvements in line with the landlord�s long term commitment. Clerk is still trying to contact the contractor. Cllr. Bown asked about insurance related to the allotments � Clerk will investigate.
Speed restriction signs � Clerk explained that ideally any provision would be initiated by the police or by DCC. He has asked Cty. Cllr. Jackson for his comments.
Gas works at Market Place. � Cllr. Bateman explained that John Slaney had been able to show that these were not necessary, in so doing he had saved Crich from significant traffic disruption. Clerk was instructed to write a letter of thanks to Mr. Slaney.

Well dressing � Cllr. Bateman explained that it had been necessary to cancel the event as the result of the loss of the venue for storing the clay. He and his group are very hopeful that the wells will be dressed in 2011.
The �shed� at Wakebridge � this was built without planning permission and is now the subject of an Enforcement Order.
FP 56 � DCC have been informed that this path is very wet (even in the dry summer weather), probably due to the fact that some old troughs, which moderated the flow, have been removed.
Designs on headstones, Clerk will continue to monitor proposed designs to ensure that they are compatible with Parish Councils� requirements.
Membership of Rural Action Derbyshire � Chair has taken the documents to study the relevance of membership.
RG play equipment � AVBC continue to fail to carry out the repairs ordered by the Parish Council.
The speed limit on the Crich � Holloway road is to be reviewed
The Rolls Royce report on the Hilts Quarry site gives no cause for concern
A letter has been sent to Mr Crowfoot acknowledging his letter ref The Briars planning application
Grants/donations to local organisations � Clerk will instigate the process.
Register of members interests � members are asked to inform the Clerk of any changes since they last completed the form.
Police/Parish Councils meeting � Chair and Cllr. Bateman will represent the Council,
Parish Councils � Description of Service (members are asked to refer to printed information). In addition the �Parish Council Toolkit� on the AVBC website in the Parish Councils section provides a very comprehensive guide to the duties and responsibilities of Parish Councils and Councillors.
The footpath between Wheatsheaf Lane and Dowie Way � wobbly hand rail has been reported.
Plant displays will be removed at the end of September.
Glebe Field Centre AGM will take place on Monday 27 September at 7.00 pm.
Cllr. Clark (Chair of the Finance Committee) presented a written report. Parish finances are in a healthy state and projections indicate an appropriate carryover at the end of the Financial Year. �1500 was allocated to the Youth Club for the period to April 2011 and it was also agreed that Burial Ground charges should be reviewed � Clerk was instructed to research charges levied by other councils.

Letter from Doreen Mason regarding the closure of the Evergreen Club � Clerk was instructed to reply thanking the club committee for their sterling work over the past 59 years.
