Raising the Roof – Crowdfunding

The new roof is now finished and we are delighted to have raised enough money to cover the full cost – another piece of the village’s heritage saved.

A huge thank you to everyone concerned.

Activities at Crich Wesley

Sunday Worship is at 3.00pm. This is mainly a traditional type of service, however very often different styles are used for the major festivals e.g. Christmas and Easter.

Messy Church

Held the 2nd Sunday of each month at 9.30am. The aim is that families share breakfast together, then be involved as a family in craft, song, story time and creative prayer. This is run with a local charity, Valley CIDS who also work in the infant and junior schools in the village.

Café Church

This is a new venture aimed at families with older children. It also meets monthly, and is a relaxed informal style with refreshments, cakes, video presentation, discussion and worship. Contact Lynda Gray 01773 857921.

Prayer Meeting

Held fortnightly on a Monday morning at 8.15am.

Soup Lunches

Held on the first Saturday of each month at 12.00 noon, with a voluntary donation to the Roof Fund. Various different home-made soups are available, followed by cakes and tea or coffee. A lovely place to bring your friends and spend time chatting and sharing with others. No need to book, but space is limited so get there early.

Popalong

Meets weekly during school term on Friday mornings at 9.30am, for friendship and fun for those with babies and toddlers aged 0 to 3 years. Contact Lynda Gray 01773 857921.
