Crich Brass raised £710 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust at a concert in Ripley

On the 7th April Crich Brass gave a concert to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The concert was well supported with Ripley Methodist Church (Wood Street) filled to capacity.

The concert was held in memory of Katy Daughton (the daughter of one of the band members) who had Cystic Fibrosis.

We would like to express our sincerest thanks to the stewards and members of Ripley Methodist Church who generously donated their premises and made refreshments.

A grand total of £710 was raised for the trust and we are so grateful for all their amazing support.

As always we are on the lookout for players to join our ranks. Current or lapsed brass players are welcome, but we are also happy to help out anyone interested in learning a brass instrument. We are able to loan an instrument and provide basic tuition free of charge to anyone wanting to learn.

Derek runs a learner group at 7.00 p.m. every Thursday evening at the King’s Arms, so all anyone has to do is turn up for a chat with him.
